I've been Burgled

I seem to have been burgled, and i'm a bit niffed off about it. Nothing of value has gone and I suspect the culprit only got a hand into my flat, but all the same i'm niffed.

I don't know when the crime occured, but when I went to wash my hands today I noticed the soap and the hand made pottery spoon dish I keep it in had dissapeared from my windowsil. I was quite fond of the pottery dish, it was only a second I got from a little pottery in Cornwall but all the same I liked it.
At first I thought the wind could have blown it out of the window, but lots of much lighter things are still there. I have checked outside and below my window - no sign of soap or dish. The only thing I can think is that someone has been on the next door neighbours fire escape, leant over and pinched the soap and dish out of my window.

I have now closed and locked the window. It's been open all summer to let in fresh air but know it's closed.

Who knows if someone was testing to see if they could get in and burgle me. Perhaps it was a silly prank. If anyone did break in they would have to leave through the window again so I haven't been worried about it up until now.

Now i'm just rather niffed with a shut window...
